After months of receiving price increase notices from our many vendors, EBC is forced to increase our prices immediately, and we hope everyone understands, and continues to support Elmhursts’ only brewery/brewpub.

Most of our beer prices are increasing by only 50 cents, some food items by $1 and some by more, given exponential increases in protein, bread and other key ingredients. Our bread vendor alone has had to increase its prices twice in 4 months.

And our costs for operating our building and equipment have gone up as well, from gas to electric to refrigeration and kitchen equipment maintenance and repair.

The good news is we haven’t raised our food prices once in two years, so hopefully our guests and fans understand why this is not only overdue, but necessary, for us to keep up in the current business climate.
